Easy steps to design and email you restoration - Part 2

Once the restoration is finished the next step is to save it to your desk top.  Look in the top, left hand corner of the "Milling Preview" screen and you will see the word "Restoration."  (See the image below.)  Click on "Restoration" and a "drop-down menu will appear.

Click on the work "Restorations."

Click on the Export Button

When  you click on "Export" the window shown below will appear.  Select Desktop (left side of screen - it should already be selected) and enter your name and the patients name on the line marked "File name.  Then, click "Send."  The restoration is now saved on your desktop.

1. Be Sure Desktop is selected as the file destination.

2. Enter the Doctors Name and Patients Name

3. Click "Send"

Now it is time to select an email program that can handle a file as large as a Cerec Restoration File.  The image below is the results of a "filemail" search on Google.  Simply click on Filemail.com to bring up the email page.

This is the page that will appear after clicking on Filemail.com.  Fill in the form as below, using the message block as you prescription.  Please include all the information we will need to make your crown.  Please be sure to include:

1.   Doctors name and number

2.   patients name

3.   tooth number and shade

4.   due date.

When the form is finished, click the "Browse for file button".

You should be taken directly to your "Desktop" files as seen on the image below.  Click on the Cerec file you just moved to the desktop and it will be attached to the e-mail.  If the "browse" does not take you to your desktop, look in the upper left corner of the window and find the words "Look in" next to a small window.  Click the "V" arrow to display a list of files.  Select "Desktop" from the list.

Your file is now attached to the email.  Click Send and it is on it's way.
